Jen Akright Joins Phired Up and TechniPhi as Onboarding Specialist

Carmel, Ind. – Phired Up and TechniPhi are elated to share that Jen Akright will join their team effective March 14 as the company’s Onboarding Specialist. In this new role, Jen will help to provide a customer success approach to client onboarding by architecting, creating, and delivering onboarding and training materials for each of Phired Up and TechniPhi’s educational and technology product offerings.

“Jen is going to absolutely thrive in the Onboarding Specialist role from the moment she starts due to the intuitive approach, commitment to exceptional product and partner experience, and creative (& phun) mindset she has!” said Ashley Schulte, Phired Up’s Product Manager. “Jen is already Phired Up as a former partner herself, but will fuel our phlame as we level up what being a Phired Up Partner means in 2022 and beyond.”

Jen earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas in 2016. Following graduation, she joined the staff of her sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha, as a traveling leadership consultant. During her time in this role with ASA, Jen served as an establishing consultant for chapters in Texas and Ohio in addition to serving as a new chapter consultant for chapters in Arizona and Indiana.

Following her work as a traveling consultant, Jen became the sorority’s Collegiate Recruitment Coordinator in 2018, helping to assist and onboard both chapter members and volunteers to organization-wide recruitment efforts. Most recently, Jen has helped Alpha Sigma Alpha find success in a community coaching model with coaching in partnership with Phired Up.

“Phired Up was the first to open up the world of fraternal growth to me and they have been making an impact on me ever since,” said Jen. “I have had the opportunity to build relationships with members of the team and consider them professional mentors. I am excited to help Phired Up’s partners get the most out of their experience and make an impact on them just as Phired Up has done for me.”

Jen has served as a volunteer facilitator for Sigma Tau Gamma, Sigma Alpha Mu, and Alpha Kappa Lambda in addition to her work for Alpha Sigma Alpha. In her time outside of work, she enjoys creative outlets by making fun and beautiful things. She expresses her creative side by making jewelry, eclectic home design, and do-it-yourself projects.
