Phired Up has been working with a LOT of very talented undergraduate students this year. We have at least three separate teams of interns working on important and fun projects to support our cause of helping fraternities and sororities grow.
Take a moment to read here about another group of fantastic students: Our Social Excellence Interns.
One of our most fun and popular products has been our “Social Excellence Dare Cards” (check them out here). These little cards put learning Social Excellence into real life challenges that push individuals to actually TRY to be Socially Excellent. The Phired Up team built 20 dares originally, and now a group of college students, led by Phired Up’s KJ McNamara, are working to grow that list of dares to 100! They’re writing the dares, and more importantly, TRYING the dares themselves.
Innovative projects like this make us at Phired Up so proud. The students working on this project are doing important work that will impact thousands of people who experience learning through the tools their creating. Meet this fun team of interns below!

Esther DeClerck is a Junior attending the University of Oklahoma. She is a Human Relations major. Esther is a sister of the Upsilon chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta and is currently serving as a Vice President for her chapter. Esther’s want to make a positive difference in every life that she touches is what led her to PhiredUp. Whether she makes this impact through fraternity or sorority recruitment, or her practice in the field of social excellence, she believes that PhiredUp is the perfect place for her to start her journey.
Case Anderson is a junior at Colorado State University. He is majoring in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Business. Case is striving to help individuals become happy and satisfied with their practices and challenge them to pursue the goals they are working for. As a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, Case and his brothers attempt to push and guide young men and women to be the best version of him/her individual self. Having past experience as a tennis professional these personable attributes come naturally to him. Wishing to continue this category of work, he was led to Phired Up by friend and co-founder Matt Mattson. After explaining the ins and outs of the company Case replied, “This is a fantastic opportunity and something I could see myself doing in the future”. With this internship Case has taken a step in the right direction to achieving his goal.
